Big Buddy, Little Buddy Instructional Presentations. Thumbnail Image
Ms. Linh's third graders had the honor of presenting their Pages presentation accompanied with a diorama to their Kinder Little Buddies from Mrs. Cortez's class. Students were asked to research their choice of biome, provide information on the biome, and create a diorama to three dimensionally and visually support their learning. The Kinder Little Buddies learned lots of interesting information about various biomes!

Shirakawa students,parents, and staff celebrated culture and diversity from around the world for the last two days. On Wednesday, June 7, 2016, students and parents enjoyed different performances from different cultures as different as Hawaii, Mexico, Vietnam ,or Thailand. You can find photos of the performances on our Photo Albums. On Thursday, June 8, all members of the Shirakawa community had the wonderful opportunity to learn about other cultures and try different international cuisines. Booths were selling foods from Italy, Brazil, France, Thailand , or Mexico (and more!). After eating, students had a chance to participate in different carnival games. What a great event!
