Uniform Policy

The Franklin-McKinley School District believes a safe and disciplined learning environment is the first requirement of a high performing school. School uniforms will help minimize disruptive behavior, promote respect for oneself and others, build school/community spirit, and, more significantly, help to maintain high academic standards. Please see below for George Shirakawa Sr. School uniform options.

Student clothing should be neat and clean at all times. All clothing must be size appropriate for the student. All students need to wear the uniform every day. Students not dressed in proper attire will be offered the choice to call home, wear loaner clothing from the office (if available), or be asked to remove the inappropriate garment (i.e. hats, undershirt, etc.)
