Welcome to 3rd Grade! Your 3rd grade teachers are Mrs. Kettmann and Mrs. Linh. Ms. Roberts teaches 3/4th combo class.
Mrs. Kettmann
This is Mrs.Kettmann's 17th year teaching at Shirakawa. She was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. Mrs.Kettmann graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and also has a degree of Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. When she is not at school, she's spending time with her family and taking trips to the beach. She is very excited to be working with such a fantastic group of students and parents.
Mrs. Linh
Mrs. Linh is a product of FMSD. She attended Santee, Meadows, Bridges, Yerba Buena, Andrew Hill, and San Jose State University where she received her Masters in Education. She is beginning her 15th year at Shirakawa. When she’s not teaching; she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and taking road trips.
Ms. Roberts
Ms. Roberts graduated from the University of California with a degree in Biology. She then went to San Jose State to earn her teaching credential. Ms. Roberts has been working in the Franklin-McKinley School District for 20 years. During that time she has taught grades first to eighth. She is very excited to be working with 3rd and 4th graders this year. Ms. Roberts enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends.
