Meet your teachers - Ms. Rivero and Ms. Perry
Ms. Rivero
Ms. Rivero has worked 22 years for FMSD, 12 of those at Shirakawa School. She received her teaching credential at UC Santa Cruz. She has been a Project Specialist and a Curriculum Support Specialist.When she is not teaching she enjoys spending time with her twins and husband, going to the movies, and reading at the beach.
Ms. Perry
Ms. Perry started teaching at Shirakawa in 2013. She has been teaching 7th and 8th grades for the past nine years. She attended George Mason University in Virginia before attending San Jose State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, Master of Elementary Education degree, and teaching credential. When Ms. Perry is not teaching, she enjoys singing, dancing, birdwatching, and baking.
